[For now, Frayed Edges is the only part of my website in English. If you would like to work with me, please feel free to reach out.]
A subscription to the beauty and frayed edges of our existence.
Every month, a letter and a poem on your doormat, written, crafted, and sent from the heart.
You can feel it. A letter you don’t read in passing, but one you take time to sit with.
With words that feel both personal and universal.Words that touch your humanness and at the same time awaken something deeper within you, on a layer you may not visit very often.
Who would like to receive a letter from me?
That question was where it all began. More than a hundred responses followed. Personal, vulnerable messages in my inbox.
Sometimes people shared a word, sometimes a sentence, sometimes a whole story. I wrote to people I didn’t know and found parts of myself in the letters, and parts of all of us.
And perhaps that is the greatest healing there is: recognising ourselves in the other.
The letters reminded me of this: our entire human experience is deeply personal, and at the same time universal.
And now there is a monthly letter and reminder for all of us. A letter that is universal but also feels personal.
Not an ordinary letter
These are attuned letters, written for those who receive them.
With my pen, I connect to something wiser and larger, without losing touch with my own humanity, and our shared humanness, with all the frayed edges of ourselves and of life.
All the words I share, I also write for myself. They are like a wise friend who walks alongside me.
Beautiful to receive for yourself, or to give as a gift to someone who might appreciate a little extra attention.
The first letter will be sent around January 21st, 2026. If you join in January, the first letter is a gift. Use the code JAN2026.
The contribution is €6.50 per month, including postage. And if you join from the start, you will never pay more. You are free to stop at any time.

they received a personal letter
Manon has the gift of writing in layers. It is more than information; these are words that stay with you.
The letter and the poem stayed with me. I kept rereading them, again and again. What I received was not a one-time moment, but something that continued to unfold slowly.
The words invited me to look differently, stirred emotions, and brought a deep sense of kinship. As if I didn’t have to carry my own challenges alone, but together with a writing companion. I carry these words with me as a comforting echo.
With love, a deeply moved woman

What an incredibly beautiful, loving, and meaningful letter!
Thank you so, so much for that, for the text and for the paper!

Thank you, Manon, for your piercing, powerful, and gentle words. Goosebumps.
You bring something beautiful into the world, and I feel seen.

What a beautiful letter.
I don’t quite know what to say about it yet. You touched exactly the essence of what it needed to be about, and I couldn’t do anything but let the emotions flow.
